Bud vase #11, tenmoku
A fluted bud vase with dark brown tenmoku glazing. The item is on sale, as a very small crack has appeared in the bottom of the item during firing. However, it does not affect the functionality of the piece as it is glazed over the area on the inside and is entirely waterproof.
Perfectly happy as a piece of decoration on its own, and also ideal for accommodating a single small flower or plant.
This vase is carefully handcrafted and brought to life in a traditional wood-fired anagama-kiln, undergoing several days of continuous firing. This method, in which intense live flames and flying ash are in direct contact with the ceramic works, results in each piece becoming truly one of a kind.
Height 7,5 cm
Width 7 cm
Weight 128 g
Intended for decorative use. Washing by hand is recommended.
